This notice explains the information ClaimMyEnergy collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you. This product is currently in pre-launch development; this draft must be reviewed by qualified counsel before production use.
Information we collect
We collect assessment answers, ZIP code and derived city/state, contact details, consent records, newsletter subscription preferences, technical request data used for abuse prevention, and interaction records needed to fulfill your request. Contractor partners may also provide business identity, licensing, insurance, service-area, authentication, and billing information.
How we use information
We use information to estimate possible incentives, respond to requests, deliver opted-in program updates, match homeowners with eligible contractors, maintain security, prevent fraud, document consent, measure marketplace performance, and meet legal obligations.
When information is shared
Homeowner contact details are shared only as needed to deliver requested services, including with an eligible contractor after an authorized lead claim. We may use infrastructure providers that process data for us under contractual restrictions. We do not sell contact details for unrelated advertising.
Retention and security
We retain information only as long as needed for the stated purpose, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, and legal requirements. We use encrypted transport, role-based access controls, row-level database policies, restricted secrets, and audit records. No system can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from policy alerts at any time. Depending on where you live, you may also request access, correction, deletion, or restriction of certain personal information. Contact privacy@claimmyenergy.com.
